My Role Model

A role model is someone who becomes a source of inspiration to others. Role models need not always be celebrities and famous personalities. Anyone, be it our father, mother, teacher or even the bus driver whom we see daily, can be our role model. Anybody who inspires us is our role model.

I see my English teacher as my role model. This is because he really taught me how life is meant to be lived.He taught us using his personal experiences. He is a middle-aged man with a very impressive personality and is blessed with an equally good temperament. We were never bored in his class. Moreover, his sartorial sense is extremely elegant. He adorned himself with simple and elegant outfits.

My English teacher thoroughly enjoyed his work. and this is what modern teachers, or for that matter, any profession should adopt. One should enjoy whatever one does. No matter what he taught, he always tried to make the topic interesting. Teaching can be fun as one is always surrounded by young students, energetic and enthusiastic students. He commanded immense respect from his students and was never shy of giving them sound advices. Moreover, he encouragedd us to develop good habits like reading, talking and behaving respectfully with everyone and to be kin d and generous to all. When i look back in my life, I realise that one need not always be rich to live a comfortable life. I have learned a lot under the guidance of my English teacher and would really want to be like him.
